Red Carpet Film Festival  –  now with English subtitles!

Finnish language is bloody difficult to learn, and now we offer also movies with subtitles in English!

Red Carpet Film Festival offers the highlights of Finnish film in one long weekend combined with good food, music and festival atmosphere. The films vary from latest hits to documentaries, preview screenings and short films.

The movies and screenings with English subtitles are the following:

Saattokeikka tells the story of young 17 year old Kamal, who wishes to visit his dad in Nairobi. He meets Veikko, a grumpy old man who wishes to visit his cabin for one last time, and they embark on a roadtrip – for Kamal to gain money for his travels, and for Veikko to escape his complicated relationship with his son.

Luokkakokous 2: Polttarit is the sequel to the first Luokkakokous-movie. This time Tuomas is about to get married, and his friends decide to throw him the greatest bachelor party ever.

Tom of Finland tells the story of the artist Touko Laaksonen. The film potrays Touko, returning from war to peacetime Helsinki, rampant with homophobic persecution. He finds rescue in his art, which then leads him to become the legendary Mr. Tom of Finland.
